Goa, June 2 -- The Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) has introduced an advanced integrated RFID gate access system at all its entry points, enhancing security and operational efficiency at one of India's major ports. Announced by MPA Chairman Dr. N. Vinodkumar, the new system is fully connected to the Vaahan portal, the government's centralized vehicle registration database.
This RFID technology automates vehicle identification and tracking as they enter and exit the port, cutting down manual checks and reducing delays.
