Goa, Nov. 14 -- Mormugao Deputy Collector Bhagwant Karmali on Thursday held a joint coordination meeting with multiple government departments and Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar to finalise arrangements for the upcoming Railway underpass project.

The project, scheduled to begin on the 17th, will require a five-day closure of key roads in the area. Officials confirmed that road widening, sewage pipeline work, and electrical utility upgrades will be carried out simultaneously to minimise future disruptions.

Authorities said a detailed traffic diversion plan will be announced shortly to ensure smooth movement during the construction period.
