Goa, Aug. 30 -- On the second day of his Japan visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba for a bullet train ride to Sendai, symbolising the strength of India-Japan cooperation in high-speed rail.
Along the way, Modi met Indian train drivers training with JR East, interacting warmly and posing for group photos. The Japanese Prime Minister posted updates from the ride on X, saying he was accompanying Modi to Sendai.
