Goa, Dec. 1 -- The Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) convened a council meeting to deliberate on several important civic matters requiring immediate attention. Among the key issues discussed was the renovation and upgradation of the Hindu crematorium, a long-pending project aimed at improving facilities for the community.
The council also took up the matter of shifting vendors to the newly constructed Vasco fish market, a move expected to streamline operations and reduce congestion in the existing market area. Councillors stressed the need for proper coordination to ensure a smooth transition for all vendors.
