Goa, Jan. 8 -- The Margao Municipal Council (MMC) has initiated action after its CCTV surveillance sys tem recorded a van illegal ly dumping garbage at a known black spot in the city, an incident that once again highlights the persistence of illegal dumping despite sur veillance and penalties. Municipal officials said the dumping was detected during a review of CCTV footage, which showed a van stopping along the Comba ring road and un loading gunny bags filled with waste before driving away. The stretch is among several locations that have repeatedly witnessed such violations over the years.
