Goa, Dec. 16 -- MMC Chairperson Girish Borkar, along with municipal staff, carried out an inspection at the local vegetable market and cleared road encroachments causing traffic congestion. Vendors were instructed to keep their stalls and trays strictly within the designated white lines to ensure smooth vehicular movement. Borkar warned that strict action would be initiated against those failing to comply with the rules. He also expressed displeasure over municipal inspectors for neglecting their duties and directed them to ensure regular monitoring to prevent the recurrence of encroachments in the busy market area.
