Goa, Dec. 4 -- A minor girl suffered injuries after being allegedly struck by a bus while crossing the road near Vales Junction in Dabolim on Wednesday. Vasco Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the bus driver.

According to officials, the girl was attempting to cross the busy stretch when the incident occurred. She was immediately rushed for medical attention. Police said further investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events and identify any lapses in road safety compliance.
