PONDA, April 22 -- The MGP held a huge padayatra rally on Sunday to protest against Union Minister Nitin Gadkari who had called upon the voters to finish off the party in Goa.

The rally commenced from Hanuma Temple, after seeking blessings, and moved to various parts of Ponda shouting slogans against BJP.

MGP leader and former PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar and former MLA Naresh Sawal led the rally which later culminated at Aguiar ground

Later addressing to the rally, Dhavalikar condemned Gadkari and demanded a public apology from him for his statement at a meeting held recently in Ponda, wherein he had appealed to voters to end the political career of MGP.
