Goa went down to Andhra by 8 wickets in the Men's U-23 State 'A' Trophy Elite match on Monday, despite a spirited effort from their young players, at the Darshanam Sports and Education Academy in Vadodara, on Monday. Batting first, Goa were dismissed for 174 in 40.2 overs. The highlight of the innings was a determined performance by Chittem Jeevankumar, who kept the Goa innings together with an impressive 61 off 68 balls, striking five boundaries and three sixes. His knock ensured that Goa posted a competitive total after early setbacks.
