Goa, June 23 -- The investigation into the sensational Meghalaya honeymoon murder case has led to two more arrests in Madhya Pradesh, bringing the total number of accused in custody to seven. The two men are alleged to have aided Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime suspect in the murder of her husband Raja Raghuvanshi, shortly after the crime.
According to police sources, one of the arrested men, Silome James-a property broker in Indore-allegedly helped Sonam conceal a box containing valuables, a laptop, and potentially a weapon believed to belong to her alleged lover, Raj Kushwaha. The box, authorities said, was later destroyed.
