Goa, May 22 -- While most people see a bus stop as just a brief waiting point, for Surya Gaonkar, the humble Kumarwada bus stop is home-and a source of peace.
For years, Surya has chosen to live at this small roadside shelter, despite having a house and family nearby. "I find peace here-freedom from tension," he says. His connection to the bus stop runs deep, tied to a sense of emotional comfort that outweighs the discomfort of his minimalist lifestyle.
