Goa, Dec. 16 -- A massive tree collapsed near a supermarket in Porvorim on Tuesday, crashing onto a parked car, two scooters and a compound wall, causing significant damage estimated at around Rs.6 lakh.

The sudden incident led to panic in the area, as the fallen tree severely damaged the vehicles and the compound wall. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as no one was present near the spot at the time of the collapse.

Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the location soon after the incident and are currently engaged in clearing the fallen tree to restore normalcy and ensure safety in the area.
