Goa, June 23 -- A dramatic incident occurred near Goa Dairy in Curti-Ponda when a massive, decades-old tamarind tree unexpectedly collapsed, causing extensive damage to property but miraculously leaving no one injured. Believed to have been uprooted due to waterlogged soil from recent heavy rains, the tree came crashing down onto a garage, damaging the structure and severely impacting three parked vehicles.
