Goa, May 2 -- The Margao Town Police have intensified their efforts to curb traffic violations, taking swift action against multiple offenders during routine patrolling in the town's jurisdiction. The operation was led by Police Inspector Shri Suraj Samant, who identified and penalized several serious breaches of traffic laws.

Two rent-a-bike vehicles were found illegally parked on a footpath and operating without valid fitness certificates. These vehicles were immediately attached as per legal procedure. Operating a rental vehicle without a fitness certificate is a violation under the Motor Vehicles Act, compromising both rider safety and public convenience.
