Goa, Nov. 28 -- A complaint from the Old Bus Stand in Margao has raised fresh concerns over mismanagement of public amenities, after a woman alleged that a toilet attendant charged her Rs.5 for using the urinal-despite the official rate being Rs.3.

According to the complaint, the Ladies Section of the pay-and-use toilet does not display any rate chart, allowing attendants to arbitrarily charge users. The absence of a mandatory rate board has triggered questions over transparency and potential misuse.
