The Margao Comunidade has raised allegations of land encroachment, claiming that a police outpost and a wellness centre have been built illegally on its property in Aquem-Margao. The comunidade's attorney, Celestino Noronha, has formally lodged complaints with the district collector, the Administrator of Comunidades, the Flying Squad, and other relevant authorities, urging immediate intervention.

Noronha stated that the construction of both structures-the police outpost and the wellness centre-on Moti Dongor land was done without obtaining the necessary permissions from the comunidade.
