Goa, Sept. 1 -- A burglary occurred at a shop located in Feira Baixa, Mapusa, on August 31, resulting in the theft of goods valued at approximately Rs.60,000. The local police acted swiftly, and by the end of the day, they arrested Mahadev Papa Gosavi, a 25-year-old resident of Mapusa but originally from Hubballi, Karnataka.
The incident raised concerns among shop owners and residents of the area, as Feira Baixa is a busy commercial hub known for its vibrant market atmosphere. Authorities have registered the case under BNS Sections 331(4) and 305, which pertain to burglary and related offenses.
