Goa, Jan. 24 -- Labourers of the Mapusa Municipal Council have alleged that they have not been paid their revised wages for the past four months, triggering strong resentment and questions over administrative inaction.

The workers pointed out that while their wage hike was approved, the enhanced payments have yet to be disbursed. They have expressed frustration that other municipal councils, including Bicholim and Mormugao, have already released the revised payments to their labourers.
