Goa, Oct. 8 -- Mapusa MLA Joshua D'Souza has voiced serious concern over a recent robbery in the area, warning that such crimes "appear to be the new normal" in the state. According to D'Souza, the accused are reportedly from North India.
"We have opened up Goa to the entire country. But somewhere, we feel some harm is coming to the Goan community. Such incidents would earlier occur once in three or four years, but now the crime rate suggests this is becoming the new normal," the MLA said.
