Goa, May 21 -- A massive mango tree came crashing down on a newly constructed restaurant in Baga, near the Acron Waterfront, just days before its grand opening, causing extensive damage and leaving the owner reeling from the unexpected setback.
The restaurant, owned by Cleophas Fernandes, former Deputy Sarpanch of Arpora-Nagoa, was nearly ready for inauguration, with the launch scheduled within the next two to three days. The establishment was set to offer authentic Goan fish curry and rice, targeting both locals and tourists in the popular beachside area.
