Goa, July 25 -- A large mango tree came crashing down on one side of a house in Cansa Bordem, Thivim, following heavy rainfall, causing property damage and obstructing access to the residence.

The falling tree damaged a scooter parked nearby and completely blocked the main entrance of the house with its sprawling branches. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Local authorities were alerted, and efforts are underway to clear the debris and restore access to the home. Residents have urged officials to assess and trim trees vulnerable to collapse during the monsoon season.
