Goa, Dec. 15 -- Mandrem Police have registered a complaint against the owner of M/S Morjim Culture, located in Morjim, for allegedly playing loud music beyond the permitted time limit, causing noise pollution in the area.

According to police sources, the incident occurred on the night of December 13, when loud music was played past the stipulated 10 pm deadline. Despite regulations mandating the cessation of amplified music by 10 pm, the sound system was reportedly shut down only at around 10.20 pm.

Following complaints from local residents, Mandrem Police took cognisance of the violation and registered a case under relevant provisions of law. Further action will be initiated as per due legal process.
