Goa, July 16 -- Panjim police have arrested a man from Uttar Pradesh for allegedly impersonating a registered candidate during the CSIR-NIO recruitment examination.
The accused, identified as Sunil Kumar, was reportedly caught red-handed while appearing for the exam on behalf of Prashant Kumar, a co-accused who is also a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Authorities took swift action after detecting the impersonation attempt during the examination process. Police have registered a case, and further investigation is underway to determine the full extent of the fraud and the involvement of others.
