Goa, May 23 -- A major water pipeline rupture at Xelpem near the SPG Hall has led to the wastage of thousands of liters of water, drawing public outrage as many areas continue to face severe water shortages.

Eyewitnesses reported a large volume of water gushing from the damaged pipeline, flooding nearby areas and flowing unchecked for hours. Despite repeated complaints, there was a delayed response from the concerned authorities.

Residents expressed frustration over the irony of such large-scale water wastage at a time when several localities are grappling with limited or irregular water supply. The incident has sparked renewed calls for quicker response systems and better infrastructure maintenance to prevent future occurrences.
