Goa, July 12 -- In a tragic incident earlier today, Jitu Talekar, a 50-year-old construction contractor from Maharashtra, lost his life after falling from the fourth floor of a rented apartment in Cujira.

The circumstances leading to the fall are yet to be fully established. Police and emergency services responded promptly to the scene, but Talekar was declared dead shortly after the incident.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine whether the fall was accidental or involved any foul play. Further details are awaited pending post-mortem and witness statements.
