Goa, Dec. 9 -- After the devastating fire at Birch in Goa, authorities in Lucknow have started rigorous fire-safety checks across eateries, entertainment venues and shopping centres. Chief Fire Officer Ankush Mittal stated that the operation focuses on reviewing fire NOCs and assessing adherence to all safety requirements. The official noted that comparable drives are expected to take place soon in other major metros such as Mumbai, Delhi and Noida to reinforce fire-prevention measures nationwide.
