Goa, April 30 -- A Loutolim-based caterer was caught in the act of illegally dumping wet food waste on the village plateau, sparking outrage among local residents. The waste was being offloaded on land belonging to the Loutolim Communidade when vigilant villagers, acting on suspicion, confronted the individual at the scene.

The accused, reportedly associated with a local catering business, allegedly claimed that he had received verbal permission from the panchayat secretary to dispose of the waste at the location. However, this claim was quickly and categorically denied by the Loutolim Village Panchayat.
