Goa, April 14 -- Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao expressed strong disappointment after the acclaimed Marathi play "Purush" was halted midway at Kala Academy, citing yet another technical glitch as the cause. The incident has reignited concerns over the infrastructure quality following the much-publicized refurbishment of the premier cultural venue.
Alemao criticized the authorities for ignoring repeated complaints by Goan artistes about faulty equipment and technical errors post-renovation.
"It is disheartening to see a powerful play like Purush being disrupted. Goan artistes have consistently raised concerns about the Kala Academy's infrastructure, but their voices seem to fall on deaf ears," Alemao said.
