Goa, Nov. 14 -- A motorcycle rider and his school-going son fell on the road after their bike reportedly got caught in a bunch of low-hanging fibre optic cables. The sudden tug caused the rider to lose balance, sending both father and child crashing to the ground.
The minor boy suffered injuries and received medical attention, while the father sustained a hand fracture along with facial injuries. The child also had to undergo surgery after fracturing his leg.
Local residents have yet again raised concerns over loosely hanging cables, calling them a major hazard for schoolchildren and two-wheeler riders.
