Goa, Dec. 20 -- Long queues of migrant voters were witnessed on polling day at the Government Primary School in the Chimbel constituency during the Zilla Panchayat elections. The polling station also saw the participation of several senior citizens, many of whom braved health concerns to exercise their democratic right. Their turnout reflected strong civic commitment despite personal challenges. Chimbel candidate Tanoj Adwalpalkar appealed to residents to actively take part in the electoral process and urged voters to come out in large numbers to strengthen democracy and ensure a decisive mandate.
