Goa, April 11 -- A tragic accident at the Salaulim canal in Cotarli has sparked widespread public outcry, with local residents demanding the immediate construction of permanent iron railings on both sides of the canal to prevent further loss of life.

The incident, which occurred a few days ago, claimed the life of Prakash Gaonkar, a local resident who tragically fell into the canal.
