PANJIM, April 7 -- With no mass gathering permitted in view of the lockdown due to COVID-19, the Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media (DCSCM) has informed that live streaming of the masses will be the medium to reach out to the followers.
The Church was one of the first institutions to take necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, by instructing its faithful to maintain social distancing and take precautionary measures, even before the government enforced lockdown.
However now, as the Holy Week has begun, and being the most holy part of the year for the Catholics, the DCSCM said it is deeply saddened that 'our faithful cannot attend the liturgical services as one community.'
