Goa, Nov. 3 -- Residents of Dhabdhaba Wada in Bicholim are once again gripped by fear following renewed leopard sightings in the area. For the past several years, locals have been facing frequent leopard intrusions, and despite earlier efforts by the forest department, the problem persists.

Last year, forest officials had successfully trapped two leopards, bringing temporary relief to the residents. However, with the growing leopard population, sightings have become increasingly common in recent months.

In a recent incident, a leopard reportedly snatched a dog sitting on the roof of a nearby house and carried it away, triggering panic among villagers living near the waterfall area.
