Goa, March 24 -- Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra has found himself at the center of controversy following an alleged joke targeting Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders, including Sanjay Raut and Naresh Mhaske, have condemned Kamra's comments, issuing strong warnings of potential repercussions.
Kamra's show, filmed at Hotel Unicontinental in Mumbai's Khar area, included a jibe aimed at Shinde, where he seemingly mocked the leader by altering a song from the popular Bollywood film Dil Toh Pagal Hai. Though Kamra did not explicitly name Shinde, the remark, which included the word "gaddar" (traitor), quickly drew the ire of Shiv Sena members.
