Goa, July 7 -- Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) will phase out its paper-based monthly passes and switch entirely to smart e-transit cards starting August 1, marking a major update to its ticketing system designed to improve transparency and reduce revenue leakages.
According to KTCL officials, commuters will have access to two types of digital passes: smart e-transit cards for the general public and special e-transit passes for students and other eligible categories. All existing concessions and subsidies for students and frequent travelers will remain in place; only the medium will change from paper to digital.
