The mock drill, July 9 -- In a proactive step towards strengthening emergency preparedness, Konkan Railway successfully conducted a joint civil defence drill at Margao Station today, in collaboration with the North Eastern Railway and South Western Railway.

00 AM to 1:00 PM, simulated multiple emergency scenarios to test and refine inter-departmental coordination and response strategies in the event of real-life crises. The exercise saw active participation from railway staff, civil defence teams, and local authorities.

Officials stated that the objective of the drill was to assess preparedness levels and ensure quick, coordinated responses during emergencies, including accidents, fire hazards, and medical contingencies.
