Goa, Sept. 9 -- A 38-year-old man from Kolkata, identified as Bishnu, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a series of temple robberies across Goa. The arrest was made by Police Inspector Narayan Chimulkar of Mopa Airport Police Station, Pernem Sub-Division, during intensified patrols in response to recent thefts.
15 pm, Bishnu was intercepted at Warkhand junction while riding a Splendor motorcycle. Wearing a sweat T-shirt and helmet, he closely resembled the suspect seen in CCTV footage linked to a theft at Shree Vetal Temple, Alorna, on August 15.
