Goa, May 31 -- The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Goa Police arrested a 29-year-old man from Kerala for allegedly possessing a high-value consignment of narcotics, including hydroponic cannabis and LSD blot papers, in Siolim.

The seized contraband is estimated to be worth Rs.22 lakh in the illegal drug market. Officials said the bust included a significant quantity of hydroponically grown marijuana-a potent, soil-free variant-and LSD blot papers, a powerful hallucinogenic substance.

The arrest is part of ANC's ongoing crackdown on the drug trade in North Goa's coastal belt, which has seen a rise in synthetic and high-grade narcotics in recent months.
