Goa, Sept. 19 -- Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strongly condemned the violent assault on social activist Rama Kankonkar in Panjim, Goa. Taking to social media, the AAP leader alleged that the attack reflects a larger failure of law and order under the BJP government in the coastal state, highlighting rising gang wars, drug issues, and harassment of women.
The assault occurred on Thursday in Caranzalem when six assailants attacked Kankonkar in broad daylight. Police have arrested five suspects - Anthony Nadar, Francis Nadar, Suresh Naik, Minguel Araujo, and Manish Hadfadkar - while efforts continue to apprehend the sixth accused.
