Goa, Nov. 16 -- In a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort car bomb blast case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Kashmiri man who allegedly played a key role in helping suicide bomber Dr Umar Un Nabi carry out the attack that killed 10 people and injured 32 in Delhi earlier this month.

The accused, Amir, was detained in Delhi after investigators confirmed that the vehicle used in the November 10 explosion was registered in his name. According to the NIA, Amir had travelled to the capital to assist Umar in procuring the car, which was later converted into a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED).
