VASCO/PANJIM, Feb. 28 -- An angry Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar firmly objected to Electricity Department Executive Engineer Kashinath Shetye closing the traditional access of people to their houses, which were built during Portuguese regime. Amonkar alleged that Shetye is acting against the government and the people and behaving like an activist.

When Chief Electrical Engineer Stephen Fernandes was contacted at the Electricity Department Head office at Panjim, said that both Kashinath and the MLA are right in their own way and there should be an amicable solution.
