Goa, March 21 -- The Muslim quota Bill, which provides 4 percent reservation in public contracts, was passed in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly amidst the chaos surrounding the honey trap scandal. The BJP condemned the Bill, calling it "unconstitutional" and vowed to challenge it legally.
As the Bill was passed, BJP leaders disrupted the proceedings by storming the well of the House, chanting slogans. In a dramatic protest, they climbed onto the Speaker's seat, tore up the 4 percent quota Bill, and threw the torn papers at the Speaker, highlighting their strong opposition to the legislation.
