India, Feb. 22 -- The Karnataka government is actively examining a proposal to restrict mobile phone usage among students below the age of 16, citing rising concerns over social media addiction and its impact on young minds. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah raised the matter during a meeting with vice chancellors of government universities, seeking their views on the practicality and consequences of such a move.
