Goa, March 27 -- As the Indian judiciary faces increased scrutiny, particularly following reports of cash found at the residence of Justice Yashwant Varma, Supreme Court Judge Abhay S. Oka highlighted the importance of judicial resilience and maturity in handling criticism. Speaking at an event organized by the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) to commemorate 75 years of the Indian Constitution, Justice Oka stressed that the judiciary must not be overly sensitive to criticism, except when it amounts to contempt of court.
