Goa, Jan. 13 -- Former Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court, Justice (Retd) Ferdino Rebello, has strongly criticised the disruption of the Governor's address in the Assembly, stating that such conduct undermines constitutional propriety.
Reacting to the incident, Justice Rebello said that he witnessed the Leader of the Opposition and others interrupting the Governor as he rose to address the House. He emphasised that the Governor is the constitutional head of the state and must be allowed to discharge his constitutional duties without obstruction.
