Goa, Dec. 18 -- Seven scrap yards in Cacora were sealed after authorities discovered they were operating without proper technical clearances, construction licenses, occupancy certificates, or fire safety measures. A joint inspection was conducted by officials from the police, fire department, and the talathi office. The action comes as a strict enforcement measure to ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations, preventing potential hazards in the area.
