Goa, June 22 -- It's all Jasprit Bumrah, as India's premier fast bowler has achieved a historic feat by overtaking Pakistan's Wasim Akram to become the highest wicket-taking Asian bowler in South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia-collectively known as SENA conditions. The landmark was reached during the ongoing first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds.
Bumrah dismissed Zak Crawley early in England's innings and later broke a significant partnership between Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope by clean bowling Duckett. These wickets pushed Bumrah's SENA tally to 147 wickets in 32 Tests, at a phenomenal average of 21.03, including nine five-wicket hauls and best figures of 6/33.
