Goa, Nov. 27 -- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, on Wednesday, highlighted the historic significance of the full implementation of the Indian Constitution in the region following the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A in 2019. His remarks came during Constitution Day celebrations in Jammu.
"After a long wait of 67 years, provisions of the Constitution were made fully applicable to J&K in 2019, ending decades of discrimination and injustice. Today, J&K is progressing guided by the ideals of equity, social and economic justice as envisioned by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar," Sinha said during his speech.
