Goa, Nov. 28 -- Residents of Jairamnagar expressed strong resentment after NH-566 traffic was rerouted through a narrow internal road due to ongoing flyover construction. Locals said the sudden diversion has created dangerous conditions, with heavy congestion and serious risks to emergency movement. They warned that the internal lane was never designed to handle high traffic volumes, especially heavy vehicles. Sarpanch Kamala Prasad Yadav urged authorities to introduce practical alternatives and restrict large trucks until the flyover is completed. He assured residents that National Highway and PWD officials would be pressed to speed up the work and resolve the growing safety concerns.
