Goa, Sept. 17 -- YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of neglecting the severe crisis faced by farmers in the state.
Taking to social media platform X, Reddy alleged that the Naidu-led government has "set unmatched records in pushing farmers into distress" by failing to stabilize crop prices. He highlighted the situation in Kurnool, where onions are reportedly being sold at just Rs 3 per kg and tomatoes at Rs 1.50 per kg, calling the prices "unimaginable" and questioning whether farmers are even being allowed to survive.
